Terms & Conditions of Repair
1. Agreement Overview
These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) apply to all repair services (“Service”) provided by Total Phone Fix. By signing our service check-in form or leaving your device with us, you agree to the following terms.
References to “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Total Phone Fix. References to “you” and “your” refer to the Customer.
2. Service Terms

This Agreement begins once you sign the service check-in form and continues until your device is repaired or returned.

We will use our utmost care and skill to repair your smartphone, tablet, computer, or accessories (“Device”).

We use both high-quality aftermarket and OEM (genuine) parts when available.
-
Repairs are subject to parts availability and warranty terms.
3. Diagnostics & Testing

We require your device passcode to conduct full pre- and post-repair testing. If you decline, testing may be limited, possibly delaying service.

Diagnostics are free for phones and tablets, but chargeable for computers, laptops, and desktops.

Disassembly may be necessary and could expose or worsen existing damage. Total Phone Fix accepts no liability for such progression of damage.
4. Repair Timeline & Costs

Any completion time given is an estimate only and not a guarantee.

Logic board (Level 3) repairs may take at least 5 business days.

If costs exceed the initial estimate, we will notify you for approval.

If no fault is found, or you decline further service, a diagnostic fee may apply.

We may withhold your device until all payments are made in full.
5. Warranty & Seals

Total Phone Fix applies warranty seals to repaired devices. Tampering with seals voids the warranty.

Warranties are linked to your device’s IMEI/serial number and your customer record.

Warranty covers only the original fault repaired and specific parts replaced.

Warranty does not cover:

Accidental damage
-
Liquid damage after repair
-
Additional faults unrelated to the original repair
-
Device ownership transfers

Warranty Summary:

Apple Screens: Lifetime Performance Warranty
-
Small Parts: 6 Months
-
Battery: 6 Months
-
Pre-Owned Devices: 1 Year
-
Liquid Damage Repairs: No Warranty

Other Devices (Samsung, Google, Huawei, LG, etc.): 6 Months (unless otherwise stated)
6. Liability

We are not responsible for:
-
Loss of data, apps, or personal information (please back up your device).

Damage progression on pre-damaged or liquid-damaged devices.
-
Indirect or consequential losses (business, profits, travel, etc.).

If we damage your device beyond economical repair, you are entitled to a refurbished replacement device of equal value (subject to conditions).

In the unlikely event of loss or theft while in our possession, we will provide a like-for-like replacement or equivalent.
7. Level 3 (Board) Repairs

Component-level logic board repairs cannot be guaranteed.

Damage may worsen, resulting in a device deemed BER (Beyond Economical Repair).

If unsuccessful, repair charges will be refunded.
-
Level 3 repairs include a 1-month warranty.
8. Customer Responsibilities

Provide accurate information during service check-in.
-
Remove SIM cards, memory cards, and back up all data.
-
Inspect your device upon collection and raise concerns immediately with our staff.
9. Storage & Collection

Devices not collected within 30 days may be recycled.
-
Storage and delivery fees may apply after notice.
10. Promotions & Discounts
-
Only one discount may be applied at a time.
-
Discounts must be applied at the point of sale.
11. Data Protection

We collect personal details (name, contact info, device info) for repair and after-sales service.

Marketing communications are only sent if you opt-in.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA.

Any disputes will be handled under Texas jurisdiction.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Total Phone Fix harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

Your misuse of our services.

Your breach of this Agreement.
-
Your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.
14. Declaration
By signing our Service Consent, you acknowledge that:

You have read and understood this Agreement.

You accept the device’s recorded condition upon check-in.
-
You will inspect the device upon collection and raise any concerns before acceptance.
